Survey-like multiple choice answer

edited August 2016 in Help! with 2.0
Hi all,

sorry to bother again. Using Harlowe here.

At an early stage of my story I want the user to pick p out of n options to go further in the game. Essentially the right answer is the right combo of answers, as if in a strongbox combination say.

I know I could present the answers and then group them in options that mash right and wrong answers (e.g. answer X = options B, C, D and F) but given the array of options I am giving (a total of 10 different answers of which 6 are correct; BTW I want the reader to be able to go further iff he/she picks each and every right answer) it looks clumsy and cumbersome.

Anyone can help or has a different solution?

Thanks in advance.

  • let me get this straight you want the reader to only be able to proceed if they choose all the right answers right, one answer wrong and they lose, I don't want to give wrong advice so is this the case
  • Is the set of correct answers always the same or is the set random predetermined?
