Quick question about link highlighting

I created this game for Paramedic students - http://philome.la/PcpPractice/croup-protocol

The problem is that sometimes the "correct" answers are already highlighted when you start or restart the quiz.

Any way I can fix this?

Thanks for the help. I am a super noob on twine and this is my first foray.

  • I tested it best I could and couldn't get any of the answers to show up as already highlighted.

Bare in mind I never got as far as a 'restart' option.

However - and perhaps this is non of my business - one aspect of this that would drive me nuts if I was a student, was having to start the chain of questions right from the beginning, whenever you get a question wrong.

Maybe this is intentional, and meant to drum the knowledge home, but I'd prefer it if an incorrect answer only sent you back to the previous question in the chain, instead of right back to the starter question.
  • It sounds like the browser is managing to highlight your visited links, which won't be a problem unless the readers are sharing computers. Try clearing your browser history between plays and see if that fixes it.
  • Or, you can use CSS to color the link and link-visited the same.
  • Try recreating the problem via a Private or Incognito Window. It could be a cache/history problem like MCD mentioned.
