Hi everyone,
I just played through the wonderful Veracity & Purpose (
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2611961/Veracity%20%26%20Purpose.html). Once the reader reaches the end of the game, he can go back through previous pages and expand on their contents. The game then features hyperlinks which, when clicked, add new text into the passage, or rewrite the passages on the spot. I was hoping to use a similar mechanic for a game I'm working on, but I have no idea how to do it. Again, what I'm trying to accomplish is: the reader clicks on keywords that are hyperlinked within passages of text, which adds additional text into the passage, or changes the passage.
I found one forum thread on expanding text which included an attached example. Unfortunately the example game couldn't open properly on my computer.
Any ideas as to how this "expanding text" can be accomplished?
Much obliged,
Dylan.

How do I know? I saved the .html of "Veracity & Purpose", and imported it into Twine by clicking "File > Import > Compiled HTML File...". Because of this, I can also tell you that the exact implementation the author chose was to compose the second half of her project of near-exact duplicates of the passages she used for the first half, and put them in reverse order. The difference between these passages is hyperlinks containing text she added using the <<insert>> macro.
