Fatal problem occuring when I try to open the html.

I'm writing a story using Sugarcube and Twine 2, and after publishing and opening the .html file it pops up with the following error:

Apologies! A fatal problem has occurred. Aborting.

Error: Failed to execute 'replaceState' on 'History': A history state object with with url (then the url) cannot be created in a document with "null"..

Why is this happening, and how do I fix it?

It's only an issue in Chrome/Chromium v45 and only when the file is opened locally (i.e. via the file:// scheme). As noted in the SugarCube releases thread.

A fix is on the way.
