Why is my story taking so long to duplicate?
It's been going for about 25 minutes, and it's not like I pressed duplicate and the new file isn't loading, the whole program just froze where it was. I'm on a Mac, though, and the force quit menu doesn't list the program as being frozen or anything. Last time I tried to duplicate the same story, earlier today, I stopped after 10 minutes, assumed Twine was crashing, restarted my computer, and opened the program back up (it took like 5 minutes to load) only to find that the story had partially copied, but hadn't entirely done so.
My story does have 902 passages, but this still feels like a really long time. At what point should I give up and quit the program? and why would this be taking so long to begin with?
I'm using Twine 2.0.10.
EDIT: right as I posted this it finally finished copying. still curious about why it took so long, but at least the process seems to be over now!
