Just a quick question. I use the Desktop version of T2, and am slowly getting the hang of it, but I've noticed something a bit odd when saving. I have found, that if I want to review my story, I first have to publish it. I am not complaining. I just think it's a bit odd to do it that way. I can see the benefit of creating 'backups' when doing it this way. Is it me or is that how it is meant to be done?
Apologies if my questions are ultra-basic. I have to start somewhere, right? lol

There is a 'play' and 'test' option in Twine, which doesn't require you to publish, and this is fine just so long as you're not using sound or images.
Not sure why sounds and images don't show when play/test is used.
The save function is a bit of a mess, really, as it autosaves every time you close a passage, which isn't ideal and more to the point can be very damaging. Add to this the broken 'undo' function and it spells danger.
It's ok. We, in Oz, use that phrase as well.... lol
