Can anyone help customise my game or point me to someone who can (for cash?)

So I've just finished writing my 61,000 word game using Twine 2.0 Harlowe. I've managed to toss in a number of gaming elements thanks to the brilliant greyelf, but there is a LOT that remains in terms of CSS , dynamic effects on passages, how images are embedded, responsiveness, save/load game feature (and design), turning the whole thing into a mobile app.

So - a lot of design and development that I can direct with specifics for passages, but cannot do myself/it's a lot of work.

Is there anyone willing to take on this design/development phase of the project? We can also discuss payment once the game has been looked at and I've explained my requirements. ALTERNATELY: can you point me to someone who can do this work?

Thanks!

  • I have the same question. Some storytellers just want to focus on content and have no interest in coding. I would love a manual of cut and paste code with examples to work with. On Fiverr I found only on person writing Twine stories. Perhaps someone could respond to this inquiry with a simple list of credentials to look for on a freelance website.
  • That would be great. And there should be a resource of CSS that works for Twine that us content peeps can just copy-paste from. It would make Twine far less intimidating.

There are at least three different Story Formats, each with it's own HTML structure, default CSS, and default layout constants. So you would need a separate resource for each Story Format.

  • Hi, I am currently developing my own mobile game using Twine.
You can take a look at the state of the art on this very forum, here.

We are far from being ready to release it and we have a ton of work remaining, so I am not sure I could be in a position to contribute to your own mobile project.

However we can have a chat if you'd like, at least I can tell you what are the skills the developer you look for shall have (basically a web front-end developer shall be ok).

Please feel free to contact me, either on this thread, by PM or on my Twitter account.
