  I don't know if you can shake the screen, but you can use this to make the text shake (choose one):

  Not quite what I'm looking for. I've seen it done before in Twine games, though, I'll see if I can dig up a link.
  
  (Oh, and I'm using SugarCube at the moment.)
  
  EDIT: There's a screenshaking/buzzing effect used in Life Is Out Of Season, which is probably where I first heard about this.

  Do you have SugarCube 2.5? Their readme says that is required.

  It's best to follow the upgrade instructions on the SugarCube website.

  The current version is v2.9.0—that is what you want, however.
  
  Follow the instructions in the SugarCube 2.x in Twine 2 guide to install it.
  
  I assume you already know how to change story formats in Twine 2—the default for new projects and/or for existing projects.
